    first I would take note of serial numbers and register the product. I would also look into some sort of securtiy hardware such as biometrics. Engrave your name somewhere where only you know and hope for the best.

    you can do what the person above sed and write it under your battery or you can get the motherboard informmation and if it gets stolen the police can hack it and block the computer
