My Macbook got stolen! Is there anyway i can track where it is or who has it?

I’m just hoping that there is some sort of tracking device or GPS in it that i can track where it is. I tried calling the company but i continue to get put on hold for endless hours. Can you tell me if there is a tracking device so i can stop wasting time trying to get ahold of someone at the compan?

    you could have installed software that would report its IP when connected to the internet but now that its gone there really is no hope. I hope you encrypted your files.

    No, im sorry, but there is no way of knowing where your macbook is. There is no tracking device inside your macbook

    If you didn’t install any tracking software before your laptop or Macbook got stollen, then no theres no way to get it back.

    Do you have a warranty on the macbook…?
    Do you have Allstate renters insurance coverage, …?

    Did you know that if you were robed while walking or driving home, Renters Insurance would help you…?

    Just a couple things you should know, even for the future.

    No, there is not. Sorry for your loss. However there may be ONE WAY. If you have the box…. serial #. You can try and give it to the police and Apple but they probably can’t do much unless the person brings them the laptop.
